Once upon a time there lived a little rabbit Bitty. He was a very skillful rabbit – was running quickly, liked jumping high and just loved the carrots. Of course Bitty had a rabbit-daddy, rabbit-mommy and a little brother – little rabbit Abbit.
Every evening the little rabbit Bitty was brushing his teeth. You know what kind of teeth he has, right? They are big, white and just beautiful.
He was not always brushing his teeth however. When he was really small, he didn’t want to brush them at all. And they gradually became more and more yellow – they got covered with a plaque. And the teeth got less and less beautiful. And one day they got a toothache. Daddy and mommy rabbits decided to take their little one to the doctor. And there is often a long line at the doctors…
The rabbits were sitting and waiting in the line, and there was another rabbit sitting next to them – his name was Muddy. He asked the little rabbit Bitty: “What are you doing here?” And the little rabbit answered gladly: “Yeah, I am waiting for the doctor – my teeth are aching.”
“Show me your teeth! ” – asked Muddy. Little Bitty has opened his mouth. “Wow, they are yellow already! ” – Said muddy happily – “Just wait, and they will soon be like mine” “. And he showed the little rabbit his black dirty teeth. A few were broken and some had huge holes – bigger than a nut! And they were smelling badly – as yesterdays lunch.
“But I don’t want to have such teeth!” – said the little Bitty. “But you don’t have to brush the teeth instead!” – replied rabbit Muddy. “Oh no, I will better brush them…” – mumbled the little rabbit.
When rabbits family got home, the little rabbit ran to the bathroom and grabbed his toothbrush. A few years have passed, and he has great teeth – white, slender and shiny. How do you think, why?
