Once upon a time there was a little snail Snaily. She was a very good little snail – she had a large shell, beautiful eyes and сute curious feelers. She liked to crawl everywhere, to hide in her shell-house and to have fun.
Little Snaily had a snail-daddy, snail-mommy and a little snail Cuty – her little brother. They all loved each other and lived together and had lots of fun.
Once the little snail and her father decided to go for a walk. They wanted to go into the woods and collect leaves there. But the little snail Snaily suddenly sat down and said – “I do not want to dress. I do not want to dress now. At all.”
Snail-daddy scratched his forehead and said: “Little snail Snaily! But we wanted to go for a walk! It is so cold outside, we must get dressed.”
“No,” said the little snail, “I do not want to dress.”
“I understand that you do not want to dress my little darling.” – the snail-daddy said. “When I was a kid, I did not want to dress either. Once, it was very cold, and I went out undressed. It was very cold and I almost got ill. I have even cried a little. And I have been always dressing up since then. I like feeling warm.”
“I like feeling warm too.” – said the little Snaily. And also scratched her forehead – just like daddy. “I do not want to get ill and I want to feel warm. So I will better get dressed. After all, we want to go for a walk!”
Little snail took her pants. And put them on. She is of course able to put the pants herself. Then she put her little socks on. And little snail’s daddy helped her to put a t-shirt and a jacket. And the little snail put her boots on herself as well – she could do it very skillfully. Chheeerrrk – and buckles fastened. It’s time for a walk! “Let’s run, daddy!” – said the little snail. She always dresses up before going out now.
